CATSKILL — The following is the weekly nutrition menu offered by the Greene County Department of Human Services’ Senior Nutrition Program. Served daily with each meal are bread or alternative with Promise Spread; low fat milk, coffee or tea.

All persons 60 and older and their spouses are invited. The suggested donation for each meal is $4.

The menu will be the meal that is delivered to all Greene County home bound meal clients. Those wishing to receive lunch at a center are asked to call the respective location at least a day in advance.

For the foreseeable future, there will be no congregate meals at any of the Greene County Nutrition Centers, including Jewett. Home delivered meals will still be delivered, and if you want a meal, you can order the day ahead and pick it up at the center to take out.

THURSDAY: Sweet and sour chicken, brown rice, broccoli, mandarin oranges and pineapple.

FRIDAY: Beef burgundy, whole wheat buttered noodles, fresh salad, cauliflower, carrot coins, spice cake with raisins.

MONDAY: Baked lemon fish, brown rice pilaf, broccoli, chocolate mousse.

TUESDAY: Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, pears.

THURSDAY: Chicken Parmesan, pasta, green salad, Italian mixed vegetables, vanilla cupcake.

FRIDAY: Apple glazed pork chop, applesauce, braised cabbage, sweet potato, fresh fruit.

MONDAY: Chicken Divan, brown rice, peas and carrots, peaches.

TUESDAY: Hungarian goulash over noodles, corn, brussels sprouts, rice pudding with raisins.

WEDNESDAY: Roast pork with apple cider gravy, green and waxed beans, mashed potatoes, applesauce, cookies.
