When I became a mother to my daughter Willow two years ago, all my good eating habits fell apart. The demands of motherhood were a shock to the system – I no longer had the time, energy, or structure to my days, and I quickly reverted to my teenage ways. 
I relied on toast and sugary tea to power through because it was all I could manage to make.

But then my nutritional knowledge kicked in and I realised I needed nourishment to feel better. I had to be realistic. I knew I needed simple recipes that were also good for me.
